Ways You Can Help
In addition to donating art, there are many ways you can help the Art Connection in the Capital Region:
• Send a contribution of funds
• Donate an original work of art
• Identify potential nonprofit agencies within the region that would benefit from our program
• Become a volunteer
• Donate equipment and supplies on our wish list
• Identify potential in-kind service providers (such as framers, art installers, etc.)
• Tell your friends about ACCR, forward our website address to them, follow us on Facebook and attend our events!
ACCR is supported in part by funding received from the following: Fay Slover Fund and the Beachcomber Fund at the Boston Foundation, Share Fund, Mimi Chandler Watt Fund, Vincent Mulford Foundation, and by the generosity of individual donors. In-kind art storage services provided by ezStorage.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Documents and information submitted under the Maryland Solicitations Act are available, for the cost of postage and copies, from the Maryland Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis MD 21401 410-974-5534.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities for volunteers to support ACCR in the delivery of its mission: from helping at an event, to lending a hand installing or documenting artwork, to assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, researching artists' websites for inclusion in our Artists' Gallery, etcetera.
If you have a few hours a week or a month to offer your assistance, or perhaps you would prefer to work only events, we could certainly use your help!
To learn about current volunteer opportunities or to discuss talents you may be able to bring to ACCR, please contact our Executive Director: jcavnor@artconnection-cr.org
